From her "school-ma'am greeting," through her early reminiscences to satirical observations on the "state of the nation" to her final imploration to "do unto others as you would be done by"; Dame Margot's patter is both refreshing, insightful and hilariously funny... What do pensioners think of New Labour's Pension Reforms, LGBT rights, same sex marriages, "cash for peerages"... why did every school girl wear grey flannel knickers to school and what was life really like in the nation's top girls boarding school...?
